An illustrative example: a salesperson generates a proposal from a template. It looks neat, but the header contains another company's details and a product line has the wrong unit. Automation quickly reproduced an error in attractive packaging.
A document template is a starting layout into which a system inserts values. Check both the layout and the origin of every important value. One successful generation from a perfectly completed record does not establish readiness for everyday work.
Identify each value's source
In Bitrix24, symbolic field codes insert data into a custom template. Template creation is covered in the official guide. Do not select a field just because its name looks similar: establish which item and related record supply it.
Separate your company's details from the customer's. If a party has several sets of details, check the selection rule. Attractive formatting cannot fix an empty or incorrect source record.
Prepare different test records
Fully populated data is not enough. Test a missing optional value, a long name, several product lines, different units and permitted customer variations. Use invented test information without copying unnecessary customer data.
For a company in Kazakhstan, check the required language, currency, date format and agreed company details. A standard layout is not automatically suitable because it appears in the menu.
Inspect the final file
Generate the document and open the format the recipient will actually receive. Check wrapping, product tables, numbers, blank lines and unresolved field codes. Review the print layout if needed.

Do not stop at checking the amount on the CRM screen: the final file must contain the agreed information. If source data changes, check that the correct document is selected and the regeneration procedure is clear.
Assign a template owner
Specify who updates the layout and tests it after changes to fields, company details or the catalogue. Keep test examples and expected outputs so the next editor does not start verification from scratch.
Before wider use, ask an ordinary employee to generate a document and follow a short checking list. Enable customer sending only after investigating discovered errors.
